Kindergarten Common Core Comparison Tracker

Special education programs facilitate academic progress by tailoring instruction to the individual needs of students, which can veer from the general education common core academics. When materials and content are adapted and the pace slowed down, we often see a gap in content the students are missing from the general education.
To help keep the academic “Gap” small,  I have taken the Kindergarten Common Core in Reading and Language Arts and transferred them into Google Docs to have an easily accessible tracker to see how far behind my students are from the general education curriculum.  This is also a great tool for students that you are thinking of exiting out of special education in reading to make sure they have the foundation skills for their grade level in order to be successful.
