Modified Compare & Contrast Nonfiction Texts (Autism/SPED)

Academic Vocabulary using Picture Symbol Supports for Comparing & Contrasting 2 Nonfiction (Informational) texts. 

An easy way to help your Kiddos learn how to Compare & Contrast 2 texts: 

1) Line up the texts from both passages. 

2) Comparing one sentence at a time by using the “same” or “different” picture Symbol card and placing it between the 2 lines. 

Visual Cards that are placed between the sentences

3) color coordinating what is similar or different between the 2 sentences
(red=same & blue=different)
