Implementing the Prompt Hierarchy in your classroom is ESSENTIAL! It often gets difficult to guide paraprofessionals when there are numerous staff within your classroom.
I have designed 2 posters that I will be implementing this year! After discussing and modeling each section with my para’s, these posters will be posted around the classroom from visual reminders.
Each poster has a simple definition of what each prompt means along with the abbreviation for each prompt for data collection recording. One poster includes the number order on the bottom (least to most invasive prompts 1-9). This visually helps staff know the progression of of prompting.I place these around the classroom as visual reminders for my paraprofessionals and teachers that come in and help out.
